Welding Workshop Welcomes First-Year Biomedical Engineering Technologies Students to Strengthen Practical Skills
As part of its ongoing commitment to equipping students with essential practical skills, the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technologies organized a series of hands-on training sessions for first-year students in the welding workshop under the supervision of Dr. Eng. Ali Fadhil and Eng. Saja Alaa.
The training sessions provided a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of welding and its various techniques, followed by intensive practical training on the operation of specialized tools and equipment. Particular emphasis was placed on occupational health and safety standards to ensure a safe and professional working environment throughout the training.
This initiative reflects the Department’s vision of bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared with the technical competencies required to excel in the engineering profession and meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
